Rotary Milking Parlour - 400 cows per hour

Rotary Milking Parlour
The Dairymaster Side by side Rotary Parlour is the world's most advanced rotary parlour system. All of our technology in conventional parlours may be utilised in this system as well as many new developments in this unique design.

Cows enter through a race in which they are individually identified and walk onto the revolving platform. Feed may be automatically dispensed according to pre-programmed quantities, which may be based on production in terms of yield, weight gain or stage of lactation.

Swing over Side by Side Milking Parlour

Swing over Side by Side Milking Parlour
The Dairymaster Side by Side Swing Over Parlour is one of the most efficient, comfortable and cow friendly milking system available.

This system has been the most popular choice among progressive dairy farmers when deciding on milking systems based on ease of operation and parlour throughout in terms of cows per hour and litres/pounds of milk per operator per hour. Operator comfort is second to none due to many labour saving devices from swing over arms milk diversion to complete parlour automation.

Clusters

Clusters
The Dairymaster Cluster has developed a well deserved name for being the best on the market. In a recent scientific trail over a full lactation the Dairymaster Cluster yielded 5% more when compared to another commonly used commercially available cluster.

The cluster is a unique combination of the Dairymaster claw, shells and our super soft 916S liner.

It is produced from high-grade impact resistant materials which enhances both durability and hygiene. Milk flow is clearly visible through its transparent bowl.

Liners

Liners
The Dairymaster 916S liner when used in conjunction with our pulsation and clusters has achieved great success for dairy farmers in every continent of the world.

Our super soft liners are specially designed and manufactured to ensure high performance with exceptional milking characteristics, low slip levels and excellent durability

Pulsation

Pulsation
The pulsation system is one of the most important components in the milking plant. Dairymaster's research focuses heavily on both design and testing to optimise operation of the pulsation system.

Our pulsation system is widely recognised as being the leader in reliability, consistency and easy maintenance.

It doesn't stop here! Digital controllers display the pulsation rate and ratio on the front panel. The number of outputs in use is selected based on the size of installation. Vacuum consumption is minimised as a result of phased outputs.

The rate and ratio are easily selected.

An additional switch is provided to facilitate the flushing out of relays with water when the machine is serviced. This ensures that dirt deposits, which may build up and reduce the diameter of the pulsation tubes will not interfere with the pulsation characteristics.

Swing Over Arms

Swing Over Arms
Swing over arms are a very popular choice for swing across milking parlours. The swing over arms are constructed from stainless steel for many years of trouble free use. Swing over arms offer several advantages:
  • The pit is much clearer and provides a better working environment by reducing the space the droppers and clusters take up in the pit.
  • Milk hoses are shorter, this means better milking and reduced maintenance costs.
  • Less 'pull' on the cluster.
  • When used in conjunction with the milk meter the swing over arm can activate the electronic milk meter control panel automatically and indicate that a new cow is being milked.
  • Utilising the swing over arm with the Milk Manager Sound Messaging System cows, which are flagged with messages, will have their message repeated over a speaker when the swing over arm is activated thereby audibly alerting the operator to a specific situation.
  • An automatic cluster remover can be activated by moving the arm which initiates the milking sequence.
  • Labour saving as no extra work is required.
Milk Diversion Lines

Milk Diversion Lines
Dairymaster have designed a unique milk diversion system. The system consists of a separate milk line, diversion valve (shown opposite), receiver and milk pump.

Milk can be diverted by operating a switch or pressing a button. The milk diversion line can be used with milk meters, automatic cluster removers or standalone.

There is no need for any pipe disconnection or other attachments to the milking equipment for either milking or washing.

Automatic Cluster Removers.

Automatic Cluster Removers
The Dairymaster Automatic Cluster Remover accurately and consistently monitors the flow of milk during milking. When milking is finished, vacuum is removed and the cluster is detached from the cow.
  • Stainless steel ram construction ensures maximum durability and reliability.
  • It is the only cluster remover that can monitor flow in two milk lines and allows milk to be diverted at the touch of a button.
  • A unique flow sensor accurately monitors end of milking detection.
  • Wash mode can be selected at just one milking unit.
  • Easy adjustment. All settings can be modified from one point.
  • Remove override function.
  • Restart facility.
  • Option of swing arm operation.
  • Auto initiation. Cluster release and vacuum are applied when the operator handles the cluster.
  • Gentle removal. Vacuum is removed from the claw before the ram is activated.
Recording Jars
Recording Jars

Quick, clean and accurate.

Recording jars provide an alternative means to milk meters to measure cow milk yields. Dairymaster have developed the "turbo" jar recording system in a highly efficient single lever control design to provide a number of options.

Automatic Scraper systems

Acknowledged throughout the world for unequalled standards of reliability and adaptability, the Dairymaster track type system is very low maintenance and exceptionally easy to operate and control. Designed with the welfare of the cow uppermost in mind, scraping automatically stops if obstructions are detected using Dairymaster's patented cow down detection technology.

Key Features:

Outstanding Flexibility:

No other system can match Dairymaster in coping with these situations.
  • Individual passages can be scraped.
  • Odd numbers of passages can be easily accommodated.
  • Passages can be unequal in length.
  • Passages do not have to be parallel.
  • Passages can be at right angles.
  • Varying levels can be accommodated.
Automatic and Manual Operation:

Although designed for daily operation any passageway can be given individual attention - an extra scrape for instance - or stopped completely, without affecting the other passageways.

Economical to run - Virtually maintenance free.
  • Generally causes no major disruptions to farm routines - even in winter.
  • Completely powered from a standard waterproof industrial socket.
Heavy Duty Scraper

Heavy Duty Scraper
Double ratchet mechanism eliminates false tripping and allows wider and longer passages to be cleaned. Patented cow down detection stops both track and saddle when an overload condition is detected.

The extra weight in the Dairymaster saddle ensures a better scrape with each cycle. Each track is formed from heavy gauge steel and has a guide rail which is anchored at two points using self-expanding high tensile fixing bolts.

There is a range of heavy duty scraper saddles available to suit the needs of all types of passages.

The robust heavy gauge rambox ensures that the ram is fully enclosed and protected from the environment.

Robust Fully enclosed Rambox

Robust Fully Enclosed Rambox
Hydraulic hoses are routed to the power unit via a sealed pipe, which further protects them from degradation. It is fully hot dip galvanised which will mean A LONGER WORKING LIFE.

Hydraulic Power Pack and Controls
Hydraulic Power Pack and Controls
  • The power unit has been designed for a long and trouble free life.
  • It's designed to control up to eight passages.
  • Internal plumbing is fabricated using stainless steel tubing.
  • The hydraulic pump is protected by a double oil filtration system on suction and return lines.
  • The oil level and temperature is visible at all times and level is continuously monitored by a float switch.
  • There is a choice of digital or analogue control depending on requirements.
Digital or Analogue

Digital Control
Digital Control

Digital control provides the ultimate in flexibility while still being user friendly and easy to operate. It boasts many unique features including passage waiting, temporary inhibit, multiple part positioning, unlimited park position, on-screen messaging, channel waiting and programme sequencing.

Analogue Control
Analogue Control

Analogue control has a switch for each passage, which may be selected from a choice of two automatic sequences or manual operation. Dairymaster's unique cow down detection is also standard with this system. Passages are normally parked at the rambox, which is loaded at one end of the passage.
